He also chooses to wear the standard dark haori on top of his attire.

Other Skills[]
Tsumutsumu possesses housework skills that includes cooking rice and sewing, which according to Shugen, acts as an important pillar to the Yamada clan. Shugen also noted that this skill causes the town girls to become drawn to the Yamada Dōjō.
Trivia[]
- Tsumutsumu's given name is composed of the kanji for "work, toil" (努 tsumu) along with an iteration mark (々).
- Though he received praise from Shugen, Tsumutsumu's skills on whether or not he is a strong samurai is questionable due to the nature of the hierarchy within the Yamada clan that focuses less on a member's fighting abilities to become the next head of the clan. There is a possibility that the Asaemon falls within this circumstance as Jikka thought to himself that Tsumutsumu was too weak to join the Additional Landing Party.
- According to the Asaemon Chapter:
- Tsumutsumu's hobbies are gardening and Ikebana.
- Tsumutsumu's specialty is sewing and cooking rice.
- Tsumutsumu also likes to observe the butterflies and bees gathering around the flowers.
