Shizankō (
Overview[]
According to Shija, the sensation of Shisankō can be compared to being skewered alive. Excessive intake can result in death. In Iwagakure, it is a requirement for the village children undergoing shinobi training to be able to endure Shisankō for three days and nights until they have become accustomed to the pain. Although an immunity to Shisankō can be developed through endurance it has been proven to be very difficult to accomplish, as it is said that only one in ten children in Iwagakure survive this part of their training alone. Other than for training, it is also useful for torture against restrained opponents.
When used in conjunction with another drug powder known as Yurakushirazu, the sensation of both causes a victim to feel as though they are being violated.
