Jigokuraku Wiki

Ninpō: Ikari Tsubute (忍法 (いかり) (つぶて) , Literal meaning: Ninja Art: Thunder Stones) is a ninjutsu where the shinobi uses the stones around them to bombard their opponent by unleashing a swift kick that launches the stones as projectiles. Because of the strong launching power from the kick, the stones are capable of puncturing through the human body. Gabimaru uses this technique to attack from a distance in case he cannot allow himself to get too close to his opponent.

Variations[]

Hibōshi Version[]

Ninpo Stone Storm, Ascetic Blaze Mode

Ninpō: Ikari Tsubute — Hibōshi Bājon.

Gabimaru can use a Ninpō: Hibōshi version known as Ninpō: Ikari Tsubute — Hibōshi Bājon (忍法 (いかり) (つぶて) () (ぼう) () 拵え (バージョン) , Literal meaning: Ninja Art: Thunder Stones — Fire Monk Version). After using Ninpō: Hibōshi, Gabimaru grabs and sets a few rocks on fire and launches them in the same manner as Ikari Tsubute. This is called Ninpo: Stone Storm, Ascetic Blaze Mode in the Viz Manga.

Centipede Version[]

An improvised version in his battle with a Dōshi where Gabimaru redirects the trajectory of the Paradise Centipede's launched at him towards another target. This version is known as Ninpō: Ikari Tsubute — Mukade Bājon (忍法 雷礫 (ムカデ) 拵え (バージョン) , Literal meaning: Ninja Art: Thunder Stones — Centipede Version).

Trivia[]

  • To a certain degree, Ran performed this technique after he deflected the stones Gabimaru initially launched towards him.
  • In an omake included in Jigokuraku Kaitai Shinsho, Kumokiri demonstrated to be a confirmed user of this technique.
