Heikichi is a thin man with hair fashioned into a topknot.
Personality[]
Heikichi is humorously described by his wife Oryō as a man of few words since he has a hard time interacting with people. He is very caring and loving towards Oryō. After Oryō came to his side as he was being beaten by Shichimatsuya's men who came to collect the money he owed, Heikichi tried putting her out of harm's way by standing in front of her. As an inn keeper, Heikichi can be careless when following the policies his wife employment that dictates that they should treat their guests with hospitality. As a cook, Heikichi has a great passion for food and is always looking for ways to improve his cooking, as he had hoped to receive feedback from Gabimaru and Sagiri after serving them. He also takes great pride in seeing his guests enjoy his cuisines.
