Hōjutsu: Tsuchinoe no i — Kūkei (方術 戊の位空詣, Literal meaning: Hōjutsu: Earth Yang — Sky Pilgrimage) is a hōjutsu technique used by Mu Dan where he takes control of the Tao in the air to create footholds for himself, giving him the ability to levitate. This technique allows Mu Dan to escape the range of his opponent's attacks and give him the luxury of attacking them from a distance.
Trivia[]
The name of this technique draws reference to the Heavenly Stems where, during ancient China, the ten days of the week were assigned an elemental attribute from the Wu Xing and a chi of either Yin or Yang. Mu Dan's use of this technique was added with the name "Kūkei" due to them possessing Yang chi and Earth Tao.
