Senta apologizes

I, 4th Six Paths, would like to give those who visit the Jigokuraku wiki for information on the series my sincerest apologizes regarding the information concerning Gabimaru's real name. It has been years and because of my careless action some of you have already spread this misinformation on social media and other forms of news. I can't tell you how embarrassing and disgraceful as a supporter of Jigokuraku this makes me feel and will vow to do better. As for the other information from the fanbook and novels, I can assure you that they are all correct after going back to check but if you find any errors please let me know as soon as possible. Ever since I became admin of the wiki I have strived everyday to make it great for the series, even if it meant doing it alone, and hope that you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Chapter 8 of Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku.

Summary[]

After having his head wrapped by one of the monsters tentacles, Gabimaru is freed by Yamada Asaemon Genji who also kills the monster. Yuzuriha then makes her introduction. Gabimaru thanks them for saving him but asked what was their motive. Yuzuriha ignores his question and attempts to seduce him into teaming up, however, Gabimaru pins her down and says that her methods won't work on him. Sagiri then notices that she has two Asaemon escorting her and asked why. Genji explains that Yuzuriha killed his original assigned criminal, Moro Makiya, and found that she could not be left alone with a single Asaemon and decided to watch over her. Gabimaru and Sagiri did not believe in his statement and knew that he fell for her charms. Yuzuriha explains her strategy of playing it safe by teaming up to find the elixir. Gabimaru looked towards Sagiri who says that she doesn't see any problems with criminals cooperating, which led Yuzuriha into a misunderstanding and hugged Gabimaru. Gabimaru pins her down once again and tells Yuzuriha that he wasn't in agreement since he doesn't trust them. She then restrains Gabimaru and tells him that they didn't have to trust each other as long as they become useful enough until they find the elixir. She provides them with information regarding the human-faced butterflies, explaining that they swarm around the monsters and have scales that emit poison that causes hallucinations but are still a mystery overall. Gabimaru asked how she managed to gain this information. Yuzuriha explains that she used Makiya as bait and then killed him. Senta tells them that the monsters and statues have qualities associated with Buddhism and Tao and that he didn't believe the island lived up to its namesake as the Pure Land. Sagiri agrees and says that though the monsters appear as sacred beings they are simply living creatures based on their anatomy. Yuzuriha steps in to say that they should quickly team up and not waste time but Gabimaru asked what was her motive. After failing in trying to lie to Gabimaru, she reveals her real reason of simply wanting to return home. The last thing he wanted to know was what she really did to Makiya. Yuzuriha answers saying that she did not do anything other than use him to perform research on the bugs but remembers his corpse being infected with flowers. She then tells him that caring about other peoples lives will get him killed. Knowing that she contains information about the island, Gabimaru agrees to help but was not willing to cooperate. Yuzuriha becomes excited and hugs Gabimaru but is once again pinned down by him. Looking back on what has happened since she came to the island, Sagiri feels that she is powerless and faints from the posion spread through the butterflies.
