Chapter 77 of the Jigokuraku manga.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Ju Fa and Tao Fa enter into their Kishikai state and emit a loud shriek to cause pain to Chōbē, Tōma, Gantetsusai, and Fuchi's ears. Chōbē throws his sword to attack but misses as the monster flies up in the air. Gantetsusai and Fuchi begin to wonder how the monster is able to fly with improper wings, though Fuchi adds that the form felt that it symbolized love. Gantetsusai mocks Chōbē's earlier attempt to attack the monster. Chōbē then says that he will fight him next after defeating the monster. Fuchi tells Gantetsusai that he needed to administer first aid before he could fight again, however, he refuses and says that his only focus is on defeating the monster. Fuchi then notices Gantetsusai starting to laugh uncontrollably and looks up to see spores being released by the monster. He sees that one of the spores on Gantetsusai's neck is the caused for his condition and removes it. Chōbē prepares to jump up and fight the monster despite Tōma trying to stop him. He transforms and cuts Tao Fa's tanden with his vines, causing them to feel pain. The two then fight back using vines to pierce and slash Chōbē and have him crashing throughout the area. They then send him flying back inside. Gantetsusai mocks Chōbē once again while Tōma panics about his brothers injures. Fuchi calms them down and says that in order to defeat the monster they have to work together. Gantetsusai and Chōbē exchange insults about working with each other and then deflect an attack by the monster. Fuchi reminds them that their enemy is the monster and that they can focus on fighting each other later. Chōbē and Tōma then decide to team up with Gantetsusai and Fuchi.
