Summary[]
After being informed of Senta's death, Fuchi stands next to his grave and cries in sorrow. After confirming the deaths and seeing the remaining survivors, Shion expresses regret that so little have survive the ordeal on the island. However, Gantetsusai comments that his feeling of regret was wasted on the condemned criminals since they were fated to kill each other and found it ridiculous that Shion thought his comrades would survive. He then points towards Tōma since he is a traitor and offers to get rid of him. Sagiri steps in to stop him, saying that he is not a threat to them. Yuzuriha interrupts and has everyone around focus their attention towards Gabimaru's injures. Fuchi arrives stating that he did all he could to heal him but says that the damage goes beyond physical. Gabimaru then awakens and sees more unfamiliar faces. Sagiri says that they should look into his wounds but Gabimaru says that he is fine. After Shion warns him that without proper treatment he will die, Gabimaru says that he accepted this, causing Sagiri to question who he was. Gabimaru answers saying that he was Gabimaru the Hollow and makes Sagiri understand his situation. Gabimaru attacks Sagiri in responds but is blocked by Shion and Fuchi. Sagiri explains to everyone the Gabimaru has lost his memories due to losing too much of his Tao. Shion confirms this by sensing Gabimaru's Tao and sees that his soul is damaged. Sagiri tries to reason with Gabimaru, explaining that she is his ally and wants to help him. After he repeatedly tries pushing her away, Sagiri uses force by pinning him down and tries using a Tao restoration. Gantetsusai watches thinking what they are doing is Bochu Jutsu, though Fuchi doubts this and Mei blushes saying that this act was different yet similar. Shion comments on how compatible they are and says their connection is far from his understanding. Sagiri explains to Gabimaru that they are in need of his strength and also tells him that he has someone to return to him. Gabimaru's Tao is then restored.
