Chapter 38 of Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku.
Summary[]
After noticing that Senta was prepared to fight, she wonders if he had any attachments to Yuzuriha. Mu Dan rushes towards Sagiri and strikes her from a distance. He then directs his attention to Yuzuriha and asked if she observed his demonstration of Tao. Before going any further, Senta cuts Mu Dan's hands and his right leg, saying that he will have to get past him first. Yuzuriha tells Senta to not interfere and uses her ninjutsu to kill Mu Dan. However, Mu Dan survives through his regeneration and comments on Yuzuriha's poor usage of Tao. Senta cuts the top part of Mu Dan's head, thinking that blinding him will give them the advantage. After hearing this statement, Mu Dan ceases the regeneration of his eyes and dodges every one of their attacks. He grabs Yuzuriha by her leg, swings her towards Senta and knocks him back. He then explains that Tao allows him to feel out the movements of his opponents and tells them they are no match for him. Sagiri tries to recover from Mu Dan's attack earlier and asks Hōko if Mu Dan possessed any weakness. Hōko says that he can't be stopped since he has the powers of a god. Sagiri encourages him to try to give her any hints after reminding him of the fact that he will not be able to return to Mei. Mu Dan takes note of Yuzuriha's Ninpō: Body Replacement and comments how she had the same attribute as him and how close she was to achieving hōjutsu, though this left her confused as to what he was talking about. He then thought about moving on to killing Senta but avoids a sneak attack from Sagiri. After being warned by Senta about his ability to predict a person's movements, Sagiri throws her sword at Mu Dan's abdomen as way to counteract this. Using the advice Hōko gave about cutting his tanden to disrupt his Tao, Sagiri cleaves throw his stomach. However, Mu Dan tells her that attacks without Tao do no harm to him and regenerates his injury. After confirming her suspicion up close, Sagiri takes a breath and releases a burst of Tao. Shocked by this phenomenon, Mu Dan jumps back to avoid the next attack but receives a slight cut on his face by Sagiri. Mu Dan concludes that Sagiri can control Tao and gleefully smiles. Yuzuriha and Senta then noticed that Mu Dan's wound wasn't healing.
