Summary[]
Gabimaru asked Mei what power she used to save him. Mei says that her power is called Tao but gives an odd explanation, leaving the group confused. While traveling to Hōrai, Hōko tells Sagiri's group that Lord Tensen uses Tao, life energy found in everything in existence and Shion explains to Nurugai that he can sense waves following throw everything around him. The three then continue to explain the principles of Tao. Shion tells Nurugai that he refuses to become her teacher but is willing to teach her while surviving the mission. Gabimaru's group are then attacked by a crowd of Sōshin. Gantetsusai becomes interested in Tao and wishes to learn how to manifest it by fighting the Sōshin and having Mei teach him. Meanwhile, Gabimaru notices an unfamiliar presence amongst the Sōshin.
