Summary[]
As he charges towards Jofuku's corpse, with his Ninpō: Hibōshi activated on his right arm, Gabimaru notices on the floor a post-wedding brazier, a flower crown, and a pair of traditional wedding garbs laid out. After remembering what Yuzuriha said about Rien's goal, Gabimaru realizes that Rien and Jofuku are a married couple, which causes him to hesitate after remembering that he is also married. Unexpectedly, Shugen jumps out from behind Gabimaru, envisions Eizen holding his blade as he raises it up, and brings down a powerful Tao-imbued sword slash to Jofuku's gilded corpse with complete conviction of his duties for the Yamada clan. Rien witnesses in horror as her late husband's body is destroyed and gives Sagiri the perfect opportunity to bisect the Tensen and destroy her plant ovule. With the battle finally over, Sagiri, Gabimaru, and Shugen become exhausted while the upper half of the puppet starts to disintegrate in the ocean.
